Shimmering Effusion

Shimmering Effusion is the boss of the Mage's Inquisition Quest: Prism of Light. The Shimmering Effusion is located in the final section of Prism of Light. To summon Effusion, you must collect five crystals.

Tactics
Despite being the boss of the area, Effusion can be fairly easy, especially when compared to some of the other Peerless. Like Lady Mel, Effusion will use peacemaking. Effusion also summons three Fetid Essences. Your best bet is to run up to his throne before he spawns and kite him back to the east end of the room. If you time it well, you will get Effusion to the corner before the Fetid Essences have spawned/aggro'd you. From there, either beat him with a stick until he gives you his shiny stuff, or use pets to speed up the process.
Should you end up pulling the Essences with you, you can either:
- Ignore the essences and focus on Effusion.
- Pull the group to one corner, run away/hide, then attempt to lure Effusion away from the Essences. Rinse/repeat until you have Effusion alone, then see the above note about beating him with a stick.
