i have downloaded EasyUO and Razor and UOAM, and they all work, even used Blaze's script to get my lockpicking to 95 worked like a charm, downloaded Mining Radar and it all works fine for 1 small thing. it is NOT mapping any ores.
the Squares stay Gray/Orange with ? in them.
i updated EasyUO and added the Ores we use on the shard but still no go
if i click one of the squares my char mines the spot until it has to stop, but the square does not change, it DOES however map Forges and i can use them by clicking on the F and all.
Tested Lumberjack Radar too and i have precisely the same problem with that.
P.S.: It's basically an exploit, but because it's completely on client side, it's impossible for us to do anything about it. Even if we knew who was using it, we couldn't prove it. Just because someone is mining a lot of platinum doesn't make them an exploiter
FYI, Cyberpope's Mining/LJ Radars are NOT exploits. They show you all of the nearby spots that are diggable and choppable, they don't take a guess at what the ore/wood types are. If you have dug/chopped a spot already it will, however, record what the resource level is for future excavations.
General: The problem you're having is with the dig/chop messages that you get. You'll have to look in the script and change them to what UOEX says after you harvest (ie. You dig some ___ ore). I'll post a copy of my LJ/Mining Radars with the fixes included (and custom wood/ore types) in a couple days.
I thought the proposed mining changes in the thread above was a good idea when I was having to manually plot the spots. The ability to use this tool makes me believe even more in such changes. Using this tool after the changes would still be easier than manually plotting them now.

THAT was the hint i needed dude! thanx i fixed my problem
+Respect!

Actually, random ore spots would render CP's Mining Radar mostly useless. Not that a change to random ore spots is very likely to happen at all given the lack of support and logic for it.
I think it would still work with the way Colibri was stating that it would be. What he was suggesting was not random ore every time. But random changes in veins after they ran out. So plotting of spots would still be useful. You just would not be able to plot once and forget about it.
Colibri stated that he plans on putting it to another vote at some point. And if he makes his plans more clear then the vote could go a different way.
But anyway... I will stop here because that's a discussion for the other thread.

You've never used CP's Mining Radar, have you? There's no reason to map ore spots that are going to change. Mapping is extra work, and if you don't get a payoff -- you know, like a map you can use -- then it's not worth the bother.
Correct! My fist posts in this thread suggests that I did not know about this tool and have never used it.
It would still be worth it to plot your map and know where to get ore when you need it. You just could not rely on those spots being there forever. And with forensics you could even tell when a vein is going to need replaced soon. So the 'logic' of this would be to add a new aspect to the mining skill while giving the unused forensics skill some life.
But again.. if you want to continue this discussion then please post on the other thread. I will answer there

Huh. I never even heard of a version like that. I wouldn't want it, either.
I'm glad that's cleared up. CP's Mining Radar is a useful tool -- you roll up your sleeves and work with it. It's not an exploit. It's something cool you can use to tackle the complex problem of mapping ore spots. What I like best about it is that you can find those obscure little pockets and corners that you'd never notice otherwise.
Blaze said it pretty well, just wanted to add my two cents.
the mining radar really doesn't save you any time. it just saves you having to hold down on the keys for your mining macro, Last Object/Last target. when mining normally, you double click your pick, or shovel, target a spot, and then hold down your last object last target keys until done mining... WITH the radar... you click the box you want to mine, and the radar mines it until dry, exactly the same as your last object/last target did. when the spot is empty, your char stands there looking dumb until you move on and select another spot to mine. Time saved would have to be measured in tenths of a second. Its just nice not to have to hold down the macro keys.
the Radar will also plot, what you have already mined. It does not show you what is in a spot before you have ever mined it. After you have mined it, if you return to the same spot, it will then show you what you had previously discovered.. but, any miner worth his salt would have marked a rune to the spot anyhow, so this feature is somewhat useless, at least to me.
i think, the greatest use of this radar, is that it shows the grid. It allows me to mine that oooonnnne tiiiiny square sticking out that i may have missed without it. Normally I mine a spot, and move six steps, mine a spot and move six steps... the radar shows me where the grids are, so i no longer have to wonder how much i am missing in my quest for ores. if i missed that tiny corner of a grid that had plat in it or not.
Useful, yes, its very handy, but in all honesty, using it causes me to take longer than normal to mine an area, because previously i missed.. a LOT of those little spots. it is not a macro that you can set and walk away, and come back tomorrow to an entire house full of ore. it is a tool that helps a dedicated miner be more dedicated to searching out those hard to get to spots.
