Hey all, I've got 2 houses (identical sized plots) side by side with 1 tile between them.
I've gone through the yard wand but can't seem to get the right combination of things
to "bridge" them together via steps/blocks/ramps/whatever. Yes i'm aware that I
can get GM's to push them together for 50 ed's however i'm looking more for a single
foot bridge or the like. Any insight?
the absolute only thing I can think of, is when you open the yard wand menu, select the blue dot on the left, the very firest button to click on the top, before the red, green, blue (its a lighter blue) anyway, that button has block/stair pieces in it, if those do not work, im afraid it will cost the 50 ED, another option, though it is not a bridge, is a house to house gate.
If you want to connect them on the ground floor, there are a variety of different stone flooring types that will work. If you want to connect them on a higher level, i don't think you will be able to, since you would be required to "move up" items. but since this connecting area is outside of your house, you don't have the option to "move up".
You could however, place something like water or swamp between your two houses, then use the wood planks to give the illusion of a bidge.
Ah i've messed around with the stone blocks and stairs, they just seem to get silly and not fully connect. =/
Also I have seen a pair of towers (side by side) that have their top wings connected (just outside luna's south wall)
which makes me think it is possible somehow.
good news everybody! I figured it out...you can make a straight across "bridge" by using blocks however targeting the second one is slightly weird as you aim more for the foundation than the ground. works very well though as it allows travel back and forth.
