I agree with thewatcher, if the GoC itself is bound then once one has all the pieces for themselves they will cease to hunt it. Since that is like the most challenging hunting on the server it really will limit the fun for the older players... Not only that but not having GoC's for sale means that some younger players will find it very hard to bridge the gap between being able to hunt the GoC themselves as you need reasonably good gear (which the inquisition armour is)
+Colibri can you put us out of our misery and let us know either way if the completed GoC will still be tradeable or not.

Speaking as part of the so-called 1% (and here's to hoping that my opinion is 'valid'), I kinda like the change. Granted, I've never done the MI quest, but even if I did I'm sure my view would be the same. Mainly because the key word is QUEST, what's the point of doing a QUEST if all of the parts for it can be bought from Vendor X?

I am of the mindset that when dealing with something that is an Artifact 70 nature, every aspect of it should be account bound. You did it, you earned it and you get it.
I believe that every opinion is relevant, every opinion whether you think it is bad or good is an opinion to listed to, to learn from and to take into account. I also believe that what was said was not necessary and an appology is in order.
Valid opinion being defined here as a player who has sufficient enough knowlege of the server, policies and the mage inquisition quest line to give an intelligent input concerning the recent changes. Nelapsi, Blaze Budd and I think everybody else who has posted in this thread qualifies by this definition.

I think all gems are account bound and or non-trade-able. The smaller parts that can be farmed i.e. dead rat, Spanish doubloon, and acid rope should remain. You should be able to sell trade and farm these because way i look at it they're the same thing as boards or ingots. Although much harder to obtain.
Any word on whether the completed GoC will be tradeable or not?? {pst c'mon +coli let us in}

It still sounds like when i read the update the completed GoC will still be sellable.. which makes farming the items still relevant.. just less profitable
