wts goc cap with 400 luck on it.
Re: wts goc cap with 400 luck on it.
So I'm not even sure what the debate is here. Why would I not want to buy an item at a good price and sell it for more. I bought a SOT for 1 mill, 2 months later was offered 200 Ed's for it. Heck ya I sold it! If some one wants to sell an item from an auction and there is someone who wants to buy it for more, Perfect thats business!
Re: wts goc cap with 400 luck on it.
Yes, it was sarcasm. I thought it was funny that he was guilt-tripping about bidding on an item he wanted to use, when he was selling other items he did win after the auction was over. I think it's even sillier the seller of the item isn't happy with your intentions for the purchase. If he wanted it to go to a noobie, he could have found one and given it to them at a fair price, not entered it in an auction where it was obviously going to sell for a price any noobie couldn't afford.anarchy wrote:is that sarcasm? trolling much? there are a lot of players that bid on thing just to resell them once they get them. they are in fact their property. luckily enough i like Ukar, and i don't mind holding an event for the item. 20 mil or 7 mil doesn't really mean anything to me.Yeah, you definitely don't bid on items for resale purposes.
I buy things all the time, off vendors, in [c, and at that auction as well, that I turn around and sell for profit. There is absolutely nothing wrong with it, it's part of the game and it's how economies work.
Not that I don't love your aggressive responses to every post I make lately, I value your opinion. (And yes, that was sarcasm as well).
Re: wts goc cap with 400 luck on it.
There is no such thing as sarcasm on the intarwebz
Re: wts goc cap with 400 luck on it.
lol i go to auctions to get stuff i need and to find stuff for resale...... i fail to see the problem if u buy an item u can use it or resell it...... there is nothing i have seen to ban an auction item from being resold that is crazy but that is just my opinion to each thier own
Re: wts goc cap with 400 luck on it.
might want to leave the sarcasm somewhere else. i can't tell by the tone of your typing if your serious or attempting to be funny. it cause's drama and i think the GM's and the Admins have other things to worry about than someone trying to be funny and someone taking it the wrong way.
Wikipedia: Sarcasm: is “a sharp, bitter, or cutting expression or remark; a bitter jibe, taunt, or to provoke.

do you fit any of theses?

The comment was directed at another poster, which can be noted by the fact that I quoted him and addressed my statement to him, and it was followed by a wink.
I'm sorry you feel the need to interject (and this isn't the first time), it's not all about you. who's trolling who.

Re: wts goc cap with 400 luck on it.
why such. a fuss about a item that should have been kept and or sold for reasonable price anyways. as a regular auction attender i see this all the time, i do belive myself and Anarchy was the only player's to even attempt a bid on this item. if it was ment to be withheld bye a new-er player yes some sort of event should have been held. there is no shame is buying something low and selling high its called *profit*
Re: wts goc cap with 400 luck on it.
Y'all are posting in a Troll Thread. Just ignore him on this one Anarchy.
Re: wts goc cap with 400 luck on it.

Re: wts goc cap with 400 luck on it.
Its funny how something small can turn into a huge thread. Might as well be talking about Candle Vote ins lol

Re: wts goc cap with 400 luck on it.
I personally find this half way hilarious! To think that something this small is causing so much drama. Look at the whole shard here everything is done for profit. When I first started here ed were around 35k/per. I have seen them go for over 80 but right now they are sticking around 50. GoC's when I first started here went for 8 mil/200ed and that was the going rate. There was also no timer on them so if you could make one in the day you could sell one in a day. But, people that came here from other places started to complain that it was to expensive to pay. So the market had to change. Everything got cheaper. (Sounds like a simple economics class huh?)
So he bought it for 7 mil great. I would have done the same thing. Turning around and selling it is a great plan he doesn't need the item in his inventory. I would much rather see him try to sell it and someone else be able to take advantage o the item than just see the item disappear off the face of the earth. This item is worth much more than what he is trying to sell if for. Not to mention I am sure if you were serious about buying it anarchy would work with you he is a really good guy. So if you want to buy it rather than flaming on a board about this crap let him know you are genuinely interested and see if he can work something out with you.

In the tubes of the internet, winkie-face makes everything okay. It's true, look it up.Side wrote:The comment was directed at another poster, which can be noted by the fact that I quoted him and addressed my statement to him, and it was followed by a wink.

Master Newbie Extraordinaire. Now with 50% more wrong, poor, and fail.
Re: wts goc cap with 400 luck on it.
It seems apparent as this thread just keeps growing, that many are quick to assume the worst when reading things on the internet or just reading things in general. If text could have a "tone" I'm sure a lot of this mess in here could have been avoided. Not sure why people are so quick to jump to the negative side of things so much.
The original seller had the right to hope it fell into the hands of someone who "needed" it. It was only hope after all. I hope a lot of things as well. Seems pretty silly this thread has spiraled into a lot of negativity and assumption based comments.
"Don't worry, Be happy" - Quoted from Bobby McFerrin - and even better(ly) said by Bob Marley in his revision of the same song... but that's a whole other debate.
***Edit*** --- bah.. blame me for reviving this 4 day old dead topic. I really should check the dates before putting two cents anywhere.
