Does that mean we'll all be homosexuals in the future?

I found 8,480,000 results for the phrase "frolic"
Shall we all dance through the tulips now? Google has hits on it, must mean its true, yes?

Some times I love people like you Devlin. I couldn't stop laughing for like 20 minutes after reading that post. Ha Ha.

My common sense is this. When the USA was founded, it was all done with fake money, or notes. Promises of paying back what was borrowed to foreign powers.

All in all, history is bound to repeat itself. Humans are foul able. Thus we rise and fall, but I hope the USA doesn't go down like the Roman's of old. If that's the case, then the rest of the world will time travel back about 500 years and loose just about all of the best technology from the current time era. *sarcasm sarcasm*

(wishes USA would stay out of every other countries business and fix the problems in its own back yard for about 100 years)
Criticism is good because it improves upon what came before, and solidifies the strongest of foundations.

that's the problem right there in a nutshell. we are spreading ourselves too thin by going to other countries. we need to pull all of our troops back, and stop sending aid to other countries. stop sending medical supplies and stop our spending.

There is a french saying that applies here, it roughly says; Well organised charity starts at home!

i think we got off track here for example this is what i mean by the change in donation.

want to make another weapon it will cost 1350 eds to make it.

i'm kind of ocd like nel and if i'm gonna donate anything it'll be in bulk of 100 usd's at a time (for the 10% bump), because it's over 1100 eds i would have donated 200 usd for it. which would have normally given me 2200 eds. 1350 eds to make the weapon and 650 eds to play with, which would have been worth it. (that's a re layer deed, or a few weapon change deeds to play around with, and inspire others to donate).

now... 1350 eds would have cost 125 euros or 176.0125 usd's. if i would have donated 200 usd's i would have gotten 142.0354 euros to donate and would have received 1540 eds. weapon 1350 which would leave me with 190 eds to play with (not even a weapon change deed). is it worth the weapon now? or if i donated 200 euros it would cost me 281.6199 to get that 10% bump for 2200 eds.

this is all "if" the weapon turns out like i hope. :S

yes i know donating should be just to donate and keeping a great shard alive. but it's nice getting things too and planning for the use's. :)

Its just disappointing. I had enjoyed when I had some extra cash to donate(and obviously get a reward). I dont donate in the realms of other people but I still had a fixed purpose for those ED's and now it will be a lot less. So rather than get a a lesser amount of ED's which wont do what I want to do. I will just forget the goal completely and use the money for some other purpose. The disappointing part is that this is where I enjoyed spending my money before. After the rule change I went to amazon and picked up some items for our cruise instead.

I get a bit tired of hearing this. You want the same donation I give that is from my heart and not expecting anything in return, the salvation army kettle gets that, it is a few dollars maybe five when I pass by it heading into a store. It is the few dollars I give the homeless guy when walking in the park. Not, 50+ dollars. When I "donate" real amounts of money that I could clearly do something else with I do expect something in return, it might be a receipt for taxes or be a cause that really does help people. Not a game that in the scope of people going hungry, being without shelter or being beaten by an abusive spouse compares to. So please do not attempt to compare this donation to a donation to something worthy of that title, my view is the only reason the word donation is applied here is because the EA would have a legal field day if someone tried to charge for running a shard. If you were around quite a few years ago when some POL servers tried this, you would understand what I mean very well.

The only thing I have got out of this change is this, someone wants more of my money but doesn't respect me enough to answer my question as to why. I don't expect or even ask for anything extra based on donations but so I do expect that I do donate to be respected by the person getting it. Now that said, this is +C's shard and he can make things/changes as he desires, I have my choices as well.

If you observe the date the link you made was posted, it was on January 12, 2001. Since then he has changed mind and made said changes.

i understand where your coming from nelapsi, because i remember the pol incident. not a lot of fun there and had a few shards i played on close. :( i was just saying someone's bound to say that again. :( but i do donate to Ducks Unlimited too in $100 bulks, and Woman's Advocate, and i don't get anything in return there. then again apple and oranges...one's a good cause and another is a video game (could be a good cause too).

not saying i'm high and mighty or better than some people, because i'm not and i'm far from being an angel.

then again it's his house and he calls the rules, even though i don't like it because 50 bucks is a lot of money and now you can't even get a re layer with that amount. :(

i was just trying to point out that the way to make money is by having something in possible reach. 50 bucks is considered a lot of money even in usa, and to spend that for a video game is kind of reaching, but now a re layer deed is 70.55 usd's. to some people that is now out of reach, because they do not want to spend that kind of cash. maybe 50 but proly not 70.55. i've learned that to sell something you make it affordable and more people will buy it. i'd rather have 10 people donate 50 bucks for a re layer than have 3 people pay 70.55 to get the same thing. 500 usd > 211.65. why do you think walmart, sam's club, and Costco does as well as they do. they sell in bulk, and labor low. here there is really no labor in producing EDs so you'd think he'd want to sell in bulk. ah well.

once again his house and he calls the rules. :(

Well I'll be donating the same amount as I do each month, only thing is, it'll take a little longer for me to get the items I want, but hey, whats the hurry :) this is still my way of saying thank-you.
