Yea, I can't look cute... this is the best I could do lol.

My name is Kaelyn. I'm a artist, story writer, dancer, singer, and a wanna be actor.

I was bullied in my lifetime when I was in public school. Everyone called me ugly, and other names. VERY BAD NAMES. Boys would always laugh at me when I walked by them. I am the nerdy type. Always smart. I'm very poliet and sensative, so when they would bully me, I would shut down a cry. Girls that were popular would always shove me to the ground. I'm now home schooled because it got so bad. About 2 weeks ago, I got accepted to a professional dance and acting school with actors and professional dancers. I've very flexible, and I never knew that. I just want to see my bullies' faces, and tell them. Look at me now.

Alot at times when people think i'm pretty, or beautiful, or cute, I don't believe it. Why? Well I was bullied, and I was called names. So I would always say "I am?" Or "No i'm not." Because I was taught by other kids that i'm not beautiful.

But well... this is me.

no worries kiddo. it's the nerdy girls that always become beautiful. with facebook and all i've ran into a few of my old nerdy friends, the ones that were on stage-crew or something. <-----the weird ones. the ones that used to role play wit me D&D. even the one with the back brace; that engulfed the whole upper body. well now that i see them 23 years later; i think to myself...i should have paid more attention to them, or maybe i shouldn't have sent that monster at her level in D&D....*bangs head on wall*...."bangs head again just because....".

if they bully you physically call the authorities.

or....

let them hit you a few times, then fall to the ground keeping your head up; so not to kill yourself. after you are sure you are safe, (purposely)inflict a surface wound, but with your possible acting career i'd suggest a non scarring wound something like a scrape. <---more evidence so your parents have proof when they sue their parents, or school district.also by falling to the ground and inflicting a wound the bully would most likely run in case of authorities.

Jemima, you are a lovely young woman and Anarchy is right - those girls who got bullied and picked on in high school usually end up realizing their beauty and worth, and being happier because of it. I was also bullied heavily in school and it was so very hard to cope with. The best advice I can give you is just to do everything you can to find your worth in yourself in spite of what they say. Also try to keep in mind that those who bully do it because they are unhappy and they often tend to pick on the people that they are intimidated by or jealous of in some way. It's an extremely dysfunctional mentality and you just have to do your best not to let that poison bleed over onto your self image, because you are better than that.

As for the physical violence aspect, always ALWAYS report *every single incident* to the principle or school counselor - always report to the exact same person. When you report, give them a written account of what happened. Make sure you sign and date it and keep a copy of what you have submitted to the principle/counselor. Tell your parents every time, and keep records of every scrape or bruise or any other injuries no matter how minor. If the school is being negligent, your parents can take it to the school board and/or the police and it can be handled that way. If your parents ignore the issue as well as the school, do not hesitate to go around them all and report it to the school board and/or police yourself. It is your body and no other person has the right to harm you. Don't let them tell you that you are overreacting or to just 'deal with it'. Do not allow that, ever.

Thanks you guys. I don't know why but I actually cried when I read your posts. Maybe because other people understand what was, and still am, going through.

I tried to ignore the mean a rude comments they said. And when I couldn't I would thing of horrible stuff, though I stopped myself all the time at the last minute, knowing it wasn't the right answer.

Everytime I was shoved to the ground... everyone would laugh. The teachers didn't care, they saw what happened, and IGNORED it. They would keep on walking... smiling like nothing ever did happen. I did go to the counselor acouple times, she didn't help. The principles were HORRIBLE. Alot things would be reported to them... they didn't care either. I live in a very bad comminuty now. So thats whhy no one ever really helped me, or my friends that got bullied also.

Even though i'm not in public school, things are still hard for me. Like the fact the my friends died, and I just got out of a servere sickness, parents arguing, ETC...

I appreciate everyone that does care for me, and realises what i'm going through. It's really hard for me back then, and right now.

Other friends of mine say "There is going to be something greater in the future for you."
