New Shop on the World Teleporter

Dear All,

Nagash, Geo and I are opening a new store which can be found on the world teleporter, with many interesting items for you to view and purchase. If you find an item that you would like to buy, please read the respective book, and [pm the owner.

For all others: If you are interested in selling a "high-end" item, we will kindly display the item at the shop for all to view. In exchange ( partly in order to cover the operating expenses and opportunity cost ) we will charge the lower of 10% of the sale price or 100k. This is a small fee considering potential vendor fees associated with high end items sitting several days on a vendor. Since space is limited, we will only be able to accept items selling for a minimum of 100k. Also, items not sold in 1 month ( this depends on the demand for space in the shop ) will be returned to the owner (at no cost).

The idea of this initiative is to help the UOEX community and encourage the selling of higher end and difficult to sell items. Please feel free to contact any of the 3 of us if you have any questions.

I visited, nice place! Just a thought for us mid level players who may be selling an upper end item for the first time, perhaps offer pricing consultation and charge a flat 100k? Just thinking that way you get the spot, help with pricing (so the item ends up selling) and you move items more quickly (more churn and burn). For example, I have a fully leveled Blaze, but I spent the points a bit oddly (first time leveling a wep all the way to 100). I know it's worth something, but not sure how much exactly. I'd gladly pay the flat fee of 100k to get some help on pricing, location, selling, etc. Anyway, great idea!

Pariah: you are free to set the price at whatever you want. If you need help with pricing, we will gladly help you. Regarding the fee, since its the "lower of" you will only pay a maximum of 100k if the item sells; however if you set the price below 1 million gold, the 10% fee kicks in i.e. 10% of 850k = 85k. No prob, I'll pm you. I was just trying to avoid people charging exorbitant prices for things that don't sell and then you don't get paid. Although, I'm sure you'd have to have that convo to place it in the first place.
