Hi +Nyx, and thank you for replying to my page, sorry I was not at the keyboard when you replied. No reply to response option, so figured that I'd post here as this seemed to be a common problem this morning for whatever reason. Several people told me that they also could not seem to get the armor quests.

I was indeed able to pick up an armor quest with your reset just a few minutes ago. You mentioned that I had deleted a book, which is not the case (though I am certainly capable of a myriad of silly things prior to my first cup of coffee in the morning). I was never able to get any of the upstairs NPCs to interact with me other than que'ing me asking for keywords. I am 100% certain that I did not delete anything, although I was playing from home and grouped with my husband (Davenymr) who was able to get the quest no problem. I have since just picked up the quest from here at work once I read your response.

Could this be an IP issue since we were playing from the same location? Or a group issue since we were grouped? Easy enough to pick up any new quests from work or just not be grouped when interacting with the NPCs, will go about it differently the next time around.

In any case, thank you for the time and effort you and the other admins are into the shard by putting in some intermediate content for us newbies. Very much looking forward to playing the new content!

Ally~

1 word, 3 syllables-Ah-maz-ing! Thanks for this +Nyx! Although I'm too old to benefit directly, and quite a bit jealous as a result, this looks like a superb way to spend some of that formative time outside of the rat quest and newb champ where you have an itch to tackle something a little more intensive. It was a stroke of brilliance to include the stealables and other items to get these players churning the economy as well. +1 to wanting to be a spectator to these areas. I can't wait to see the results.

This. Is. Awesome. I'm pretty much going to laugh at any complaining by new players for at least the next 6 months (or whatever I read about on the forums, as I'll be back in Afghanistan again). All I had was a rat quest, over...and over...and over... lol. Great job +Nyx! Can't wait to see what the rest of the rares/stealables look like.

Don't make the mistake of deleting your quest book. I did this and even though I went back to Thaddeus, I was unable to obtain another quest.

Well, noobs can't complain about having nothing to do.... but I can!!! I want Elysium and Touria.

Seriously, though, awesome job. The most tedious part of this game is the first couple months of doing rat quest then switching to whatever dungeon you can just barely squeak through trying to get decent gear. Job well done. As for you thieves start selling some of that fancy new stuff so I can give you some gold.

Thaddeus is functioning properly, if you approach him and say the keyword, he'll reset your quest. However, if you run away before he's done, it will fail.

"- Mistvale Merchantile - Assist Mistvale's foremost merchant and receive an item bless deed. This quest can be repeated every 2 weeks. "

Great job on the new areas. Only concern I have is there is a TON of people there and the spawn rates are EXTREMELY slow!

The spawn rates aren't actually 'slow' at all. They are the standard spawn rate that every mob on the shard uses by default. It feels slow because so many players are hunting there right now, but if I speed the spawn up then people will be complaining that it's too difficult to hunt there, particularly when there aren't many other players helping keep the spawn down. The quests are meant to take awhile, there's not really going to be any more 'something awesome for 2 hours of lazywork' quests by myself or V :)

Judging solely on global marke..chat, I'd say this is already a success. Very glad to hear new players have something more exciting to do while learning the game, and that Mistvale is still in progress. While I personally had no issues starting here as a new player, this certainly beats "rat quest, escorts, afk on a trainer," and I'm sure new players will appreciate it. May all the vets be jealous of their stolen goodies.

Having a good time so far, some tough mobs, some pushovers and some cool stuff overall. Thanks for doing this :).

Quick question. I chose to do the sword, just for grins. It doesnt say it goes away at 6 months like some of the clothing, so Im guessing it stays? How does it work for leveling?

I hope this is a roaring success! IMO it's brilliant. One answer to at least 4 different problems, that's awesome. Once again, great job +Nyx and +Coli!

Was having issues getting new quests if you have animals summoned shrink them and they will talk to you and you can get new quests hope this helps!

The number of followers you have doesn't have any effect on whether an NPC will talk to you or not. Pets could potentially get in the way so that the NPC doesn't 'see' you, but that doesn't happen often.

Regarding the cloak, sash, and sword - they are not limited by account age. Anyone can use these for as long as they like.

Also, please be aware that the Armaments set items don't decay at 4 months, they are only wearable until then. So once you pass 4 months account age, you just can't equip it anymore. The item doesn't poof.
