animal spawners?

So I am wondering about animal spawners that players have in, or around their homes (more so in their homes). I read this in the codex...
"Personal spawner - special
- 1,000,000 gold pieces.
Each special spawner has only one animal. The animal is invunrable/immortal and non-tamable.
Special spawn: all regular spawn, including: ferret, squirrel, gaman, love birds, heartwood echee, flamingo, wraith, skeleton, mummy, headless, mongbat, imp, baby bellhop, spider, dread spider."

If this is true I am confused on how people get spawners in their home that you can tame etc...is that something different? I would like to work towards having some in my home as well.

Hi,
You can purchase a tamable-mob spawner in the Deco room on the table just south of the gate.

if I place one is it moveable if I change my house or something?
