Maul, I've seen Mystral's screen before when the imp dog was shrunk in human form and looked like it was a little statue, so am sure it used to be able to be done. Maybe it was a bug.
Does anyone know how to get Razor working again? I have designated a path stopping at Ultima Online Excelsior Shard without designating the 4b patch. Razor keeps closing but Ultima runs without the patch.
That sounds like you are not running razor either in compatibility mode for windows xp or as administrator. I would recommend having both of those set. There is A post I created out on the forums in the help section that can walk you through how to do that if you do not know how home. If that does not work post back and I'll see if I can help
I have had an imp dog for several years, never been able to shrink while it is polymophed into my human form. If I have Angelic Form on though, and it polys into that, I can shrink it.
Are you running all of the programs you use with UO in compatibility mode for windows xp and as administrator? if not there is a post in the help forums that I did on how to fix Razor that has the step by step instructions on how to set it. Let me know how you make out.
I re-downloaded the dropbox patch and applied it. I can still see walls and enter dungeons in Ilshinar. But I can't see this pot o' gold when I equip it. And I can see the items in that room.
Hawke, try downloading this file. Make sure it's all done downloading (give it a few mins after it looks finished), then unzip it. Log out of everything uo related. Check your processes to make sure nothing's still running sneakylike. Then copy these files over the UO install you're using for UOEX. Tell it to replace the old files. Reboot le computah, and then try again. These are the exact gump files I am using in my own install and I'm able to see the Pot O' Gold equipped with no probs so if downloaded & installed correctly there shouldn't be any issue after you plug these in.
If there still is, let me know, and we'll figure out what to do from there.
I think I found the problem. I am running LINUX and it is more case sensitive than Microstupid.
I had a Gumpart.mul and a gumpart.mul. And I had a Gumpidx.mul and a gumpidx.mul
I downloaded the files you linked. Then manually removed all four of the files above. Then copied the two new files to the directory.
It works now.
And only 5k each, bargain! Plus the colour is a bit more subtle than the natural granite.
