Paperdoll Suffixes
Paperdoll Suffixes
Recently, after years of playing as a weaponless mage, I thought it wouldn't hurt to gain up Wrestling and related to 130, as I do end up tanking on occasion, so why not get that occasional +1 extra damage and +3% chance to parry? Well... this seemingly no-harm idea resulted in my book-wielding "Legendary Scribe" paperdoll suffix changing into... Legendary Warrior.
Shortly after, someone else happened to ask on World Chat about how to change their own title from the ubiquitous Legendary Warrior, and a vet responded that you can just politely PM the GMs and buy any paperdoll suffix you like. Oh! Eureka! But wait -- there's a catch. This custom sweetness will rename your onscreen name as well. Awww shucks, I like that one to just be completely plain.
So, questions:
1) Is there an in-game way to remove skill points? I really don't need that extra 1-2 damage...
2) Or could just the paperdoll suffix be retitled without changing the screen name?
3) Or can one just choose for the retitle to be completely blank in both cases?
Thank you for your time! ^_^

Re: Paperdoll Suffixes
For the question 1.
Skill decrease
A staffmember will decrease any skill you would like to any level you would like, as long as that new level is lower than your current skill level. This is possible due to no-skill-limit, since you cannot decrease your own skills.
- 50,000 tokens

question 2.
You can choose between any skill title by locking the unwanted skills like i have done here:
So now i have title from Mace Fighting skill but it works only between the highest skills so in this case skills that are at 130.
question 3.
I guess you could have just blank custom title made by staff but its up to Colibri if they want to do that. Haven't seen anyone have that.

Lol @ Rachel
ForrestElf describes the mechanics well. In your case, only way to get the desired paperdoll title suffix (the profession/skill suffix), is by lowering your wrestling to 120, then set that skill to "Locked" so that it will be ignored for the title.
We can also have a quick vote whether all skills set to "Locked" should be ignored. If we make this change, then you could have 130 wrestling and set to Locked, and your 120 magery will be used for the skill title suffix.
The custom title (costs 500k) also overrides your skill title on the paperdoll, so that's also an option. It will however also appear on your name in the game, when someone hovers their mouse over you. Requesting a title such as "legendary mage" is allowed. Although keep in mind that these custom titles will be recoded at some point, to be more clear that it's a custom, player-requested title, not something granted by skill/stat or as a status in our community (e.g. "gamemaster", "staff"... such titles wouldn't be granted anyway).

I vote yes for all skills set to "Locked" should be ignored.
It would be nice since now most of us are stuck with Legendary Healer or combat related titles.
