These would be great for first relayers -- you need that swing speed increase early on. And you're basically getting the fully leveled relayer for the price of a relayer deed. Just curious -- what is it you don't like about these relayers? They look like they hit everything on the core build... SDI...

I have gotten many shoe small BODs and every other SBOD that I have needed to fill a LBOD, so far.

Of course I am all for updating the rewards. I think adding the currency will offer a lot of flexibility in the future, as long as it is maintained/rotated and the items useful. A few things I would be interested in as rewards: -Sheep statue like the one on OSI. Gives 10 wool or random leather a day...
