Instead of replacing filtered words with asterisks, perhaps we could replace them with a more acceptable word. for example: F**k would turn into Fudge F**king would turn into Flopping A*s would turn into Donkey As for the ***, i guess i'll think about it... perhaps add a property ("second-hand" yes/no)to items dropped into the boxes that prevents them from being placed in vendors or trade windows, and make it so accounts over a certain age can only drop things into the boxes.

There would be an obvious need for balancing to not flood the economy. The amounts of money should not be to large (100k a week from brit in its early stages for example), and there would need to be more money sinks associated with maintaining a city, such as upgrades, as the amount of income grows....

Another thought for begging, that would be considerably simpler, would be to improve players interactions with NPC vendors (not the player owned ones). For example, GM begging would allow you to sell items to the NPCs for the same price as it would be to buy said item from it. Right now a ball of ya...
