Hello there! (A little question!)

Post by Randall »

Well hello there everyone. Name's Randall. I'm an oldie from this game, as I first played UO around 13-14 years ago by now? Ahh, time passes.

I just got nostalic lately and wanted to come back to it. Did my little research and your server seems to be what I'm looking for, from what I've read. But still, I need to see what's inside the box before deciding!

What I wonder, though, is what kind of game I need to join the server. What version of UO should I get, so everything runs well?

I have my old first age and 'Renaissance' CDs here, but knowing that they're quite old, would I need an upgrade in terms of version?

Thank you!

That should help you get onto the server. If you have anymore questions feel free to PM me in game or on the forums.

Oh! In the old days, we needed to download a client, a.. verdana? God my memory is blurry, and an IP. I thought that was it, didn't know the game was available as well.

Thank you for the information! :)

Yeah everything you need is on there. But just to clarify you will need the Mondain's Legacy expansion, the UO EXcelsior Freeshard client, and the server address changed in your login file (or via razor). If you played on osi back in the day and never had the chance to use razor I highly recommend using that to get yourself started.
