Week-Long Quest

I was told the Dread Pirate Robert hat would be temporary. Just throwing that out there for quest goers.

Then, if that is , doesn't that negate the need to return the Pirate's Gold, Endless Rhum etc?

If anyone can elaborate on this, it would be helpful for the Quest.

You are correct.. Mine has vanished!!! :( The three items that we forked over said temporary quest items as a tag, I think.

The items the Pirate was asking for (in return for a hat) were temporary, but it seems the hat is as well.

That means returning to the Pirate doesn't need to happen because all you get is a Dread Pirate Robert Hat (and whatever else), which seems to vanish later on (hat) - which in turn was what I found to be curious.

It seemed to be a valid in game Quest Reward, such as the Snakeskin boots from the previous weekly Quest reward.
Perhaps future Quest Reward Gears can become account bound to prevent abusive repetition of the quest and temporary items could be marked as such to avoid confusion and let-downs.

Well, I think this was a great quest, and I had a lot of fun doing it. I was one of the first 5 people to finish the quest. And I still have my "Hat" in my bank where I put it after the quest.

So, I would have to say this quest is worth doing, and finishing.

I love these quests very much.

It gets you thinking outside of the regular box a little bit, a nice change of scenery for sure and helps discover a bit of the land.

A fun reward awaits those who complete it :)

Being the first to admit we all obviously enjoy and are thankful for the weekly quest Dramoor :)

Having said that,

Colibri told me the hats were meant to be temporary or some other thing.
It's just kindof confusing, as some of us have had their hats removed and some of you have not...

You are absolutely right, after yous aid that I did check my bank, and some point today they did vanish.
I guess i dont care if everyones vanishes.
Shoulda had the item say "temp item" though. i feel bad for anyone who had purchased one without knowing, just to find that it was temporary and removed from them.
