need help with poisoning

ok here's my skills, gm all combat, gm alchemist, poisoning 89.4.

my dagger has 14 greater poison charges on it. no matter what i hit it won't poison anything. i've also tried forks (doesn't work) and the kriss. i talked to someone about it ingame, and he mentioned something called 'poisonous strike' another player says it doesn't work here. i've checked the wiki for skill definitions but it doesn't tell much on all levels.

can someone please help me on this. thanks

Back in the 'glory' days of pre-AoS you could poison any weapon and it would release the charges just by attacking something. Unfortunately, that doesn't work anymore - you're looking for the Infecting special move found on Butcher Knives, Cleavers, Daggers, Pikes, Kryss, Double-Bladed Staves and Assassin Spikes. To activate your weapon special(s), double-click the purple icon on your Paperdoll that has a small blade on it, then drag-off the primary and secondary move icons (just like spell/ability icons) and double-click the one you want to be use the next time you attack.

Its unfortunate how many people don't know about the weapon specials, since there are some pretty powerful ones out there (I prefer any weapon that has Whirlwind Attack). You should also note that the Mondain's Legacy weapons' (mainly the elven ones) specials don't seem to work, but the Samurai Empire ones do.
