Razor crashes when i push backspace key???

hi folks!

Any idea why and how to fix this problem? ... as i mentioned in title of the topic, Razor crashes when i push backspace key???

What operating system are you running? (XP, Vista, Win7 etc.)

Make sure you're using the most recent version of Razor, v1.0.13 - if not, uninstall and redownload the latest one here.

Oh and if you're using Windows XP, be sure you have .NET Framework v2.0 installed, which can be found here.

I have win xp 32bit and the latest version of razor, and .NET Framework v2.0 service pack1. Do i need to reinstall the older version (.NET Framework v2.0)?

You shouldn't need to install any previous version of .NET Framework - though at one point on my buddy's computer (same OS) I realized we needed to get v1.5 and 2.0 installed for it to work, for some reason.

Before uninstalling 2.0 to get 1.5 in, try downloading the C++ Redistributable Package (here). If that doesn't work: uninstall 2.0, install 1.5, reinstall 2.0 and try again.



If all of that garbage doesn't do the trick, I'm out of suggestions - aside from doing a virus/malware scan, because I've never heard of this issue happening before.

i had to get .net 1.5 vista 64bit for some reason. but that was awhile back. i use razor 1.0.12 never had a problem. oh a small tip. if your razor works fine disable the registry update might help for future things.

I'm no expert on these things, and Blaze is for sure. However one simple thing came to mind. I'ts pretty unlikely, but you never know. Is it possible you set an old macro to a hotkey, in this case backspace. Then when you hit backspace, you run this outdated macro and it crashes the system?
