well i think people who come from OSI need to be reminded about how slow the gains are there and be grateful for the quick gains we have here. and anyone who hasn't been on OSI you need to know how slow the gains are there and be glad you havent had to go through it. if you decide to move from one house to another, you cant be like, well i dont want to have to move EVERYTHING i own again its not fair. no, you move it or you pay someone to help you move. same here, you can gain in skills yourself (and with extra hands thanks to razor/easy uo) or buy a skill ball to help you out. and its not like gaining a skill is a waste of time, if you take a sec to think you can be crafting things you can sell or do taming BODs for people and make some money while gaining etc. there's a use for the gaining itself you dont have to just hit a button in razor and sigh. this is not directed at any person specifically just an overall thought on new players and skill gaining.

love,

You're completely missing the point.

There is a literal gold fountain in the newbie dungeon.

This is about several people being in agreement that there are FAR better ways to get newbies started then giving them gold for no work. The most tedious, irritating, annoying thing as a starting player is macroing skills so that you're able to do anything. Earning gold as a brand new player even without farming organics is still easy. That's what this is about, making this game less irritating to starting players. The obvious purpose is to help new players get started otherwise why is it there?

The side effect to all of this is you have a valuable resource that has all of 5-6 sources on the entire shard with newbies as the source. Can you not see how bass ackwards that is?

Nah, I think people see your point. It's just a manner of perspective. I think the skill gain on this shard is fine. In fact, it's way better than most shards (No 1 point-gain per 8x8, 120 taming w/o taming a single animal, train up to 75 combat skill without fear of losing anything more than a training weapon...)

We hear ya, it's just not everyone agrees with ya....

Hehe i like this one:

Hey! your back so soon, Great great! Did u killed them???

Well I went to school with Morpheus, and his english wasn't that bad. He was probably in a hurry, or tended more to the technical aspects rather than the texts.
Just fixing it, not sure if it will be perfect but at least i'll take out the major kinks.
