Can't create an account.

Hello everyone

I am trying to get on to Excelsior but keep getting an error when I try to log in.

With my original account name I get to the 'choose starting location' page and hit next and it says someone else is online with that username. I assume that means that account name has been taken. So I go to put another in and it says 'There is some problem communicating with Origin. Please restart Ultima Online and try again.'

So I did that and still get the same message. I am using 5.0.6b and have the Excelsior full patch.

Anyone know what the deal is?

Ah, it's actually a wrong message. It should say "There is another character by that name in the world".
Just try making a character with a different name.
