Another tip that some people might not know (sorry if someone already mentioned it) is when you are running hold down the right click, then while holding it down click the left one and it will keep you running.

Another interesting thing that I just found out by pure chance:

As many of you may know, the commands for cycling back and forth through things you previously said are CTRL-Q and CTRL-W.

However, if you re-bind these to other macros (for example combat skills since they're very easy to reach), they seem to be overridden and no longer available. But they actually quietly and automatically rebind themselves to CTRL-SHIFT-Q and CTRL-SHIFT-W!

So you can still use them while you have the benefit of CTRL-Q and CTRL-W being saved for more important things. As an added bonus you're less likely to hit them by accident and create an embarrassing blooper in [c world chat.

here's some old school tips for the really new at this game.

taming: "remember this one" alt-left click on an animal will make you auto-follow.
stealth: don't need to step macro hiding. click stealth (do this 3 times in your macro)
mining: smelt 1 ore at a time.
bowing: make 1 shaft at a time.
parry: summon blade spirits with a sheild. do healing too.
ninjitsu: this was a weird one becuase i kept disarming my hanzo bow. <---click spell then equipt bow.

some skills take 12 secs (12000 ms) before you can use another skill.
provok/discord/peacekeeping: don't know if this is legal, but in your house box in two nontamed animals and macro away.
bushido: cast confidence until about 97
shift-control: brings up all names, and names of items.
[claimall: make a hot key for this when new. it will autoloot the corpse
[claim: will just collect the gold and anything special.

while in the training room.
you can macro while in combat use the time to do anatomy/eval etc... while fighting.

here's something any pre-AoS players may not know. little book on paper doll next to picture of character. there are primary and secondary weapons. use them they are awesome. i like the bow primary does extra damage. i do like 110pts damage with a zircote yumi. check out that book!!! you may like some of the weapons specials out there.

Here is a simple tip for stat gain. I mention this about every 4 months or so and I feel it's still a good tip to know. Grab your handy dagger and whittle yourself about 20 to 25 pieces of kindling from a tree. Start double clicking the kindling creating campfires and you'll start gaining in camping. If you hadn't had a stat gain in the past 15 minutes or so, you will soon get one. You can gain in all 3 stats this way, so if you want to gain a specific stat ,then lock the other 2 out. This comes in handy when you are not training, macroing, etc.. and just are hanging about chatting, exploring or just wasting time. Repeat the process every 15 minutes. When you start at zero camping skill, those 25 pieces of kindling can last a little while. You can use this method well into the 50 skill level but by then you will have to incease the size of your kindling stack or make more trips to the trees. I found this method especially usefull when I was out filling taming bods with my other characters. Good Luck and happy hunting in Excelsior!

hey ElseWarlik all good... no worries, we're all here to help out if you need anything just global ask and someone should answer you. tell me you at least have razor/easyuo/uoassist/uoam/uo autoloop/ uo autopilot?

also, it sucks, and sometimes boring but the wiki holds a lot of information.
for the super noob. you know about primary and secondary weapon functions. right? little book on paperdoll (the picture thing of you) book. you can only see it's back binder. (kind of wish it was in your pack then some noob like myself at times would have known about it.) each weapon does something different. hm... what else for someone who's first time playing.
erm.. well if you have any questions just ask.

good luck cu online

Holding in Ctrl+Shift brings up names for all enemies, allies, pets, objects in the area.
Dragging the mouse on one will bring up the health bar for it
Right clicking on any of them will dismiss them until you release and re-hold ctrl+shift.

Good way to get bars for all your pets, or target a specific mob while everyone and his 5 pets are going for it.

New to the server (on day 9 and fully addicted), but I tried using a butcher's war cleaver but it didn't automatically place the leather in my bag nor did it cut up the hides. Am I doing something wrong? It's a toxic butcher's war cleaver that I got off a vendor.

Same with me, I made one using Electrum ignots. It did nothing for me.
