Hey yall,
My charector appears to keep getting stuck where by i cannot move, but i can write click to close items such as paper doll etc. I have tried pathfinding, but stay stuck for 10 secs then it move off rapidly. Spoke with Admin in game who asked me to Ping UOEX.net, have tried this twice now with no luck. I was running UOAssist but have now uninstalled as thought maybe wasnt fully compatible, but still getting same issue running client on its own.
Command Prompt says:

Request timed out.
Request timed out.

I was playing last nite for about 3.5 hours with no problems at all. I am running UOEX on my laptop which is a Advent 9519, with AMD Turion 64x2 2Ghz Processor, 2GB Ram and 350Gb HD with 200Gb Free Space. I have not previously had any issues with gaming, appart from this tonight. Well Freaky.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I think the problem is that you have a very bad connection with the shard, or possibly with the internet.
Are you on a wifi connection? Maybe your neighbor is using his/her microwave and it's causing your internet to slow down. It might not be aparent with websites... or might be that it's just a slow connection to our server, not all of the internet.
When we were talking, you said that if you try to move, it takes 10 seconds. That sounds like very bad lag for me.
I have just tried to ping your IP (from the server, to the IP with which you last logged in) and i got an average of 70ms reply.
Try pinging the server again, you should get approximately the same results. Perhaps it was just a temporary thing.

Let's try this from a cellphone...
So, interestingly enough I recently had an issue where only one webpage was not returining a ping. If you are connecting through a router, unplug it, hold its reset button for 20 seconds, and recalibrate it. What happened to me was something with the firewall...which was cleared right up after the reset.

Must have just been a freak incident with Cmd Prompt, tried again 2 secs ago n got these results:
Reply from IP: bytes = 32 time=71ms TTL=49 - 4x times
Average round trip times in milliseconds:
Minimum = 71ms, Maximum = 74ms, Average = 72ms
Not going to have a chance to login this evening as laptop seems to be running extra slow with Vista, so im going to format and reinstall windows xp and then continue to play that way.
I think the issues are with my laptop and vista, so i will try going back to XP MCE and see what happens
