Has anyone gone after the 'Swoop' on this server? I' saw it on UO Stratics website and was wondering if we have it, and if so, can anyone tell me bout their time killing it.

There is one on the way to twisted wead, where the cus are. It packs a punch, but is easy to do with pets. If i remember correctly the loot is similiar to that of the lady spiders.

Well, it says on stratics website that it drops like 2-3k gold and a CRAP load of magic items, and is THE monster to hunt if you have a high luck suit, and I was just wondering.

The swoop does drop 2-3k in gold and does drop a lot of magic items. But, you will never find a good magic item on them. Your best bet in that area is just to collect the items you need to summon dreadhorn. The peerless bosses can drop 'over stat' magic items that are pretty nice.
When you look into the abyss remember that the abyss is looking back.
