Were you the one complaining about the lag last night? I haven't experienced any lag in the past week. Are you sure it's not a processing thing rather than a connection thing? Do you have any memory enhancing programs running? Have you tried resetting your router? If you are on a wireless network, have you tried a hardline connection?

I'v seen people saying there laggy the last few days so pretty sure its not just me. my comp is well over what i need for UO and im on cable net so its not my internet..therefor its the server

Lots of lag all afternoon. Almost impossible to fight high end stuff:-(

heard they restarted server today...CHEERS to that..on the crappy side i just reformated my computer and the download is going at 21 kbps ...hmm 8 hours ill be able to log back on ..the first time i downloaded the client it was done in like a hour =(

Anyways, I was also experiencing lag yesterday afternoon as well.

It was because the server had a 25 day uptime... and with the numerous custom scripts we have, lots loaded from the runuo forums, there's bound to be lots of small memory leaks that add up with so many players being online. I've noticed even before that it's good to restart the server about every week or two, but these last few have been very packed and so i havent gotten to it.

And yes, it's funny how many got incredible lag, while some almost none. I am on the LAN with the server, and in the end, i have noticed an occasional spike (such as, a gump would not open instantly, but there would be a short delay, probably a quarter to a half of a second).

It's been restarted yesterday though, so it should be much better now
