i think there is a new rule on mage quested items. from what i heard (this is a rumor mind you) that people are not allowed to give out gem quested items or something. can someone please clear this up?

Just to make sure you all understand, the gem itself is not bound, and can be traded like any other item. The things you cannot trade however are the items that you loot from the monsters, and the minor gems (gem of bedlam, gem of labrynth..).

I don't believe things are working like that. From what I have tested, the items are still able to be traded. The only difference I have noticed is there is a 3 day waiting period between turning in the collectors and the collectors themselves can not be traded. I haven't had any problems giving items to other players however nor have they had any issues with adding items I have given them to their collectors. I haven't tried the lesser gems.

+Colibri, when you say "bound", it makes me think bound like the Excelsior Boots are bound, and simply not usable by anyone else. In this case do you mean bound, like bound by the laws of the shard? Becasue as of yesterday, existing and newly found items are not binding to the player like the Excelsior boots do.
