1. In your UO folder search for Login.cfg.
2. Make a backup.
3. Open with notepad.
4. Delete everything in that file
5. Put this in it: LoginServer=shard.uoexcelsior.com,36300
6. Run Client.exe
the port is: 2593
like the frontpage says, shard.uoexcelsior.com:2593
i think there was someone with the same problem - they reinstalled UO alltogether and then it worked.
OR
go to your UO folder, and find a folder named "uog" in there - you can delete the whole folder, that deletes all patches you have from various shards.

1. Download http://patch.uoexcelsior.com/patch-b-uog.rar
2. Create a new local server with following data:
IP: shard.uoexcelsior.com
Port: 36300 or 2593 (dunno exactly)
3 Click save
4. Manually add path u just downloaded: Edit server u just created and click the AddFiles button under Patch section. Select patch.
