Passing of a Legend

Today marked the passing of a legend on Excelsior. The player owned vendor house Bad Ash's Home Depot fell today. This vendor house was started by Bad Ash over a year ago primarily to sell raw materials like lumber, ore, leather, etc. Those of us who were is Ash's Merchants guild ran the various vendors. For the last 8 or 9 months the number of active vendor's dwindled until there were just three of us left at the end. I want to thank Taelwrath and Chizlhead for sticking it out and trying to keep up the old traditions. But in the end, with Bad Ash gone on to do other things in life, the end finally came. Of course now with the advent of Exex, the need for a vendor hall dedicated to the raw materials has also faded into the past. So it is a fond farewell to the old place and for those who were our customers for the last year, check out Exex for most of your shopping now.

What a shame. I know personally I GMd most if not all of my crafting skills with help from the depot. Not to mention the kegs I still buy semi daily. I don't think they are on exex are they?

Terrible shame but seems to be the way of such things with the new house drops. Wonder what else we will lose? Mushroom house? Homer Simpson house? Let's hope not

Gee, I didn't even notice that my Max ingot vendor fell today. Still, I was waiting for the other shoe to drop for a while now.
