Where did the xmas trees come from?

Just curious, as I wasn't here last Christmas.

Where did the big holiday trees, snowmen, piles of snow come from? Were they seasonal extras in the Town Center deco room, available for purchase? Or were they hand outs from something else, like an event?

At any rate, I'm already shopping around for some winter holiday style deco. I want to make the switch between autumn theme and winter theme very soon. One snowy tree just isn't enough. lol

So dig through all your stuff and see what you wouldn't mind selling. *wink wink*

Two years ago I think they only gave out the 'Deed for a Holiday Tree' to everyone, but this last year I logged in to find a bag of holiday goodies (including a tree, lump of coal, snow piles and snowflakes I think) in my bank.

I don't remember them putting items in the deco room for sale - then again I wasn't really looking - but odds are good that they'll be handing out freebies plus selling some more extravagant items in the deco room.


Edit: Ooh I forgot this, but they also sold some holiday deco pieces in a December auction last year.

Thanks Blaze! Forgot about the snowflakes. Have seen a few here and there.

I'm not really an auction fan, mainly because I never have enough gold to compete.

I saw an xmas tree back during the last big house drop before the recent change, and wasn't able to get it since it was probably a deeded item. Hope to see them again.

The trees, snow piles, wreaths, coal, and snowflakes were a freebie, but the things like the candy canes, teddy bears, etc came from the deco room. Like Blaze said, there will probably be some type of gift from the staff (plus +Rayne's food ), some deco room, and some auction items available closer to xmas.
