pet and weapon leveling?

first let me say i love this shard.
it has so many special features especially pet breeding, pet leveling, and weapon leveling.
the problem is that there seems to be few DETAILED instructions or essays written on how to accomplish these tasks.

may i suggest that someone take it upon themselves to write a detailed essay on these and other great things on this shard.

i believe it would help other new members become more involved and excited about playing and getting their friends to play if the learning curve on using the special features of this shard was not so steep.

got any takers?

if there are any essays on these items please flag them for me and other new members so that we can read up on them.
i know there are a few lines written on pet breeding and the other stuff, but nothing i have found that details on how to do it.

Most of the information you can find on the WIKI. And im poretty sure i seen some forums posted on that stuff try searching text for them

i've searched and read Wiki.
yes there is a few instructions on these but not an organized detailed essay.
on UO Assist players wrote essays on animal taming, treasure hunter, etc.

i am just saying it would be nice to see indepth essays on the affore mentioned skills.

like players saying they are getting 200 to 300 hit points with their weapons. HOW?
i just made my Horselord bow levelable.
i don't see any information on raising specific things like magic resist, or making it able to do magic spells etc.

it already does 50% extra damage. can i raise it's damage above that??

can I train it to do magic damage and other stuff?

i have gotten it up to level 5. does special gumps pop up when the level attains a certain level?

i have met a lot of great people on this shard. i would just like to see some one sit down and share their knowledge that goes beyond a few lines of general instructions.

Ok well First Left click it once and click Information that brings up the Gump as for if you can do magic damage like Cold fire energey or poison thats all in the weapon itself cant chamge that by leveling. Try useing Chivalry when useing a melee weapon cast Enemy Of One then Concecrate weapon and use the 2 ability's the weapon has and you will do WAY more damage than just standing there without spells. You can also riase the Di on a weapon but you need a Sharpening stone for that and those are rare and VERY expensive. Also most of us vet players have re-layered lvl 100 weapons as cloths so we have bonus stats and DI.. thats probl why you hear people hitting at 200+ try. Try casting the Palidin spells useing chivalry it will help ALOT

first time i have heard of a sharpening stone.

how, where do you get those. Are they crafted or a rare?

rare smith bod reward i beleive and i could be wrong and last time i bought one it was 1 mil per charge lol
