Town house rent

Hello im still fairly new to the shard and i must say so far im hooked ive voted every chance i get, but one thing im still trying to find an answer to, when is the rent for these houses taken out? I bought one of the vesper houses im pretty sure the first time i got it was wednesday. Four days later on sunday i lost it because i didnt have enough gold, that i understad but that wasnt a week after i got it. That is ok i figured maybe rent was taken out every sunday at a certain time, so after i found out i lost, it i was lucky enough to get it back which was sunday also, then today at 18:46 shard time it took out rent for my town house again, 3 days after buying it. So i guess im trying to figure out which day rent is taken out or how many days is considered a week in game or is it still 7? Sorry im not upset i just dont want to lose this nice house i found Thanks in advance for all your help, and for the great place to call home.

ok again today at 18:47 shard time another payment was made to my town house? Please could i get an answer about this i know the GMs are very busy, but the sign said once a week not every day, im loseing a decent amount of gold for a newer player.

Quick question, Why rent a town house? Whats the rent on one of those? Why not just buy a plot and build a house, only pay once and its over!

They are mostly buildings already part of the game that are being rented out for players to use, for instance i rent the vesper museum, if you go to Custom and Town houses you can find it thru there, i have a house i build but i thought this one would be nice for vendors for friends and maybe put some artis in the basement
