Enhancing looted weapon...

I have looted 3x46 weapon and want to enhance it with platinum.
Is it possible?

If yes, then:
What minimal / recommended skill of Blacksmithy is needed for it?
What are the chances of success / failure?
Will it still gain 5 points per level after enhancing?

Yes, it is possible. As far as minimum skill is concerned, I think it will require Gm skill to at least not destroy your item by enhancing. I remembering trying to enhance a few years back on this shard and destroyed the item but I can't remember what skill level I was at then. At 120+, I have had 100% success rate though I can't say I enhance that much. I hope this helps. I always put on my smithy gear to raise my skill up as high as possible just to be sure. Perhaps someone has more experience enhancing than do I and can expound on this. And yes, it will still gain 5 points per level.

Get the best gear... +3 gear is recommended... then have a black smithing hammer ( +30)... also eat to full.

Different material will raise different stats, or enhance durability better...

It seems that Enhancing is low key on this server... or broken.

You have your durability enhancing materials, your luck enhance, your regeneration enhances, and resistances enhancements. There might be more but i know not as of now.

just a little bit of information. you can use 200 eds to change an artie and then enhance them also. not just looted weapons. good luck.

How can +30 hammer help u? I tried to take this hammer in hand, but i cant use runic hammer in this case.

if you mean what i think you mean, you cannot enchance with runics to add extra properties.

put the +30 hammer in hand and dbl click a difrent hammer and use that (not sure if enhancing uses up hammer uses, but if it did then it would be a waste of a runic use)
