Any comments welcome as well, but basically it's yes-or-no question.

Re: Got candidate for relaying. Need your opinion.
It's good for a bio. But to make it a good weapon you use, you'd need hit lightning, fireball, harm or magic arrow, since in my view weapon is meant to do dmg.
Failure is not an option, it's a standard.
Re: Got candidate for relaying. Need your opinion.
I believe its a good deal! All its missing in my opinion is Damage increase. But Its already got pretty good attributes maxxed out and then some. Plus swing speed. If your not sure about it though you can always just level it up but not add any points. If in the end you decide you dont want it people will pay big bucks for a leveled, no points used weapon with those attributes. But my honest opinion is go for it. You might later on find something better but you might not. If you dont want it, ill gladly take it off your hands
Good luck to ya!

Re: Got candidate for relaying. Need your opinion.
It is a nice weapon. I suggest 60% lightning, and other points equal on fireball and harm, one is fire damage and one is cold damage.
Re: Got candidate for relaying. Need your opinion.
It depends on how much DI and DCI you have without the weapon. If the dci wouldnoy put you over 75 and you don't need di on your weapon I'd go for it. Adding 8dex 8str 60 light and however much fb you can get.
Personally the dci would be a deal breaker for me but that depends on YOUR stats not mine.
The issue with lvling a weapon you won't be happy with is not the tokens at all, it's the time investment getting it to 100

Re: Got candidate for relaying. Need your opinion.
I've seen this before. I don't understand why 4x58 is good, but 4x58 + 18 DCI is bad. Anyways, It's a good weapon to level while trying to find a better one. But I wouldn't re-layer it.Dj Sticky wrote:Personally the dci would be a deal breaker for me but that depends on YOUR stats not mine.

Re: Got candidate for relaying. Need your opinion.
I am assuming you mean wep type change and not relayer here? As a weapon (type change to a bow) its good, for a relayer its no good.

the poll is titled:qbf wrote:I am assuming you mean wep type change and not relayer here? As a weapon (type change to a bow) its good, for a relayer its no good.
I admit the thread name is misleading though. Is this item worth relaying to warhammer and leveling as main meele weapon, or not?
I am a newbie and i would say it's pretty good. It would possibly make a better yumi than a war hammer though

Re: Got candidate for relaying. Need your opinion.
As the new Guild boss of Wolfpack JOHNNY WAREN! said, if you are weapon type changing it is a great weapon for it.
FInding 58% in all the leeches is a rarity especially since the loot table changes. Regardless of other stats id level it for those three alone. Depends how far you are along already. If you are going down the path of relayering, a butchers resolve gets you 75% Di and 30% (ithink) SSi, well on your way to caps for these stats, so IMO these two arent as important on a leveled weapon.
The way i would go..... If used as a bow
500 points total....
60% hit lighting (60x4 = 240) 260 left
Add 6 to the leeches to get them to 60% (6 x 3 = 18 points) 242 left
40% hit fireball (40x4 = 160) 82 left
20% SDI (20x2 = 40) 42 left
14% hit lower defence (14x3 = 42) = 0 left
If type changed to a war hammer
500 points total....
60% hit lighting (60x4 = 240) 260 left
Add 6 to the leeches to get them to 60% (6 x 3 = 18 points) 242 left
20% hit fire area (20x4 = 80) 162 left
20% hit fireball (20x4 = 80) 82 left
5% Hit poison area ( 5x4 = 20) 62 left
5% Hit cold area ( 5x4 = 20 ) 42 left
5% hit energy area ( 5x4 = 20) 22 left
5% hit physical area ( 5x4 = 20) 2 points left
1% regen hits
I know the 5% doesnt seem like alot but you would be surprised how often these go off even at 5% especially when in labby
Take all of this with a grain of salt, most of my relayers mean i dont really need str, dex, int, mana, HP, DI or SSI on my weapons..... so may be completely different to you

So your bow would look like this
18% DCI
60% Hit life leech
58% Hit lower attack
60% Hit mana Leech
60% hit stamina leech
60% Hit lightning
40% hit fireball
35% SSI

Hammer would look like this
18% DCI
60% Hit life leech
58% Hit lower attack
60% Hit mana Leech
60% hit stamina leech
60% Hit lightning
20% Hit fireball
20% hit fire area
5% Hit poison area
5% Hit cold area
5% hit energy area
5% hit physical area
1% regen hits
Has this changed? Thought the cap was 45% for DCI?Dj Sticky wrote:If the dci wouldnoy put you over 75

Re: Got candidate for relaying. Need your opinion.
It has not changed, the soft cap is 45% as far as effectiveness. However I like to get 75% in order to counteract the -20% DCI from divine fury and the extra 10% is wiggle room just in case I ever decide to PvP or switch out a GoC piece. Also I don't like to get my DCI from my weapon as I tend to use more then 1 weapon because I'm of the mind that 1 size doesn't fit all and I like to have weapons that are VERY good at one job rather then only decent at all jobs.TheWatcher wrote:Has this changed? I wouldn't say it's BAD, its still 4x48. Just my personal opinion is it's a 5x48 (for all intensive purposes) and that last 48 is something that is of ABSOLUTELY no use to me. I'd rather have a prop that I didn't particularly want but still functions rather then on that does not function at all (over dci cap). That's why my comment revolved around, it MAY be good for you depending on how much DCI you have.Jack Penny wrote: I've seen this before. It may be just perfect for him, just wouldn't be perfect for me so I would not level it if I was searching for perfection. If I'm at that stage of the weapon game I'm not gonna spend several days leveling something that I'm going to kick to the curb in a week when I find one better.
That said as it is for me personally, I'm leveling a far worse weapon at the moment because I"m not at that point yet

FWIW I'm the 1 seasoned player vote for Yes it's Worthy. Just wanted to give my full opinion.
Re: Got candidate for relaying. Need your opinion.
Thank you all for suggestions. The situation is much more clearer for me now. And yes, I was talking about "weapon type change", but I kinda new in all this so I called it "relayer" ) Sorry for misleading.
Also, some of you talking about possibility of changing it to a bow. But isn't this mean that life and stam leeches will become pretty useless? I mean archers do not get hits that much... I want to have a bow as well, but for it I'll seek something more like HitSpell / HLA / HLD / Mana Leech.
PS
Oh, and btw, how do you make warhammer onehanded? I'm pretty sure I've seen people with onehanded warhammers and bows...

Re: Got candidate for relaying. Need your opinion.
1 handed war hammer would be a relayer. So change type to warhammer then relayer to 1h
I don't suggest this though. Intact I'm not a fan of 1handed anything but that's me.

Why not?
You can put GoC shield in other hand or another relayer...

Re: Got candidate for relaying. Need your opinion.
my 2c worth...
when making an end game weapon always create/level your weapon according to what your gear will become, and where you plan to use it. yes it takes planning. if let's say you get a gear with max everything then no i don't suggest spending the eds to turn that into a war hammer. but obviously with the whirlwind attack your using it for a area damage weapon so imo no i wouldn't spend the eds to turn it into a war hammer. i would suggest finding something that has at least a possibility (through leveling) of 2 area effect damage (unless it's made for wrong). don't get me wrong that is a nice weapon for maybe a yumi.
did not vote because its not worthless.
next move is yours.

It'd be sweet for a bio
