I've been working on a weapon for my bio, its a halabert (well a relayered one it was a taskmaster)
Right now it has 60% life leach and 60% stam leach. I will have enough points left over to put 33 hit lighting on. question is, is lighting where i should dump the rest of the points, remember it is a bio weapon.
Bio weapon advice
Re: Bio weapon advice
A good bio weapon should have the following:
35%+ stam leech (should be fairenough in almost any places)
40%+ HLD
40%+ HLA
+6 HP Regen
+10 Stam Regen (if needed)
+ high Damage Increase
- High base-damage weapon
- spellchanneling
After that, add a spell of your choice (lightning mostly)
You dont need:
mana-leech (dont want your bio to cast and loose DPS, so empty manapool=good)
Life-leech (so small leech you wont even notice it, its scripted for 200hp players, not 3k hp bio)
FC (dont want to cast plus doesnt work)
FCR (dont want to cast plus doesnt work)
SSI (doesnt work)
+to stats (not needed)
+to hp/stam/mana (not working)
SDI (not working)

Re: Bio weapon advice
What about a 2 hand weapon vs a 1 hand with a shield?
Re: Bio weapon advice
havent finished testing on that point yet. there seems to be a parrying chance of some kind which
you loose when using a 2-hd weapon but its not noticeable on many enemies.
i'd suggest use a 1-hd weapon to be on the safe side. but if you can max a bio on hci/dci/di/rpd
with a good stat 2-hd weapon, use it on easy mobs. i love herding bios through the labyrinth entrance
to bridge area with a great 2-hd area dmg weapon. but when fighting bossmobs i switch to 1hd + shield.
