The only reason i would want this back for the deco that is dropped there is alot of stuff out there that isnt around anymore from past events that would be a shame to loss but hey they wont change it back because they dont clean out there server the same way they did before

Well I run around looking for dropped houses about 3x per week for exactly this reason. Only ever found 1 dropped house though in all this time since the change from announced to random drop times.

And speaking of deco, I've seen LOTS of orphaned old xmas trees and other deeded deco items that were not removed when the house dropped. This type of stuff is just sitting there in the middle of nowhere and not attached to any house whatsoever. And if someone else goes there and decides to a build a house on that spot, they can't because the item is in the way.

I came across the same thing, all you need to do is press the HELP button at the top and leave a page for the ADMIN's , if the message that keeps coming up telling you that your in the queue is annoying, then another option you can pick, is for Admin's to deal with it later and let you know.

Sure. One might also convert to EDs, which are stackable and a decent currency.

But 10 mil or even 100 mil in a fallen house should not shock anyone. It's not that hard to make gold here.

I would absolutely love it if there were pre-announced house drops! I always enjoyed running around like a crazy person, snatching up little trinkets and tidbits (and the occasional nice item). Any chance this will be reinstated?

Houses -do- still drop, seen several that poofed at some point. Unless folks are moving houses pretty regularly they are falling even if i miss the actual drops ;/

Negative Gold Leader - when you find houses with dead bees and old deco, make a rune and check it yourself. Pm the name on the house sign and see if it's still active. You get lucky or you don't. Saving up all the house drops for one day causes a frantic, hot mess of lag and meanness, grabbers, and trolls. It's the ugliest part of humanity -- like looting during a riot. Houses drop all the time. Sorry they're not easy to find. :\ But, they do drop as soon as that person's account expires, and it's better that way because it's not a shard breaking grab all when it's gradual.

However, when you find left over yard wand items stuck on the ground or floating in the area, please page. Stuck yard wand items keep people from being able to place new homes in recently opened areas.
