question on weapon type change deed

Post by -don- »

hi all.

i could not find any info on this on the forum, please just post a link if such a topic already exists.

if i use such a deed on a weapon, which attributes will carry over?

i wonder if i will get
* base damage
* special moves
* 1H or 2H
from the old or the new weapon...

thank you,
don (i'm hedgar ingame)

It is still levelable.

None of the regular weapon attributes (base damage, special moves, 1H/2H) carry over, just think that you found your weapon as the one that's been changed to.

Yup, thats the reason we do not see relayered Jack's.

As for 1H yumi's you'll need the relayer deed (500 ED)

here's the rule of thumbs about things that transfers over.
question: are you hitting anything with that shirt you just re layered? no well i guess hit lightning don't work. hm.. how about hit chance increase. is that a passive or skill? yuppers so i guess it does transfer over. :) a friend taught me that a long time ago, and it hasn't failed me yet :)

1 handed yumi/halberd/whatever will cost you 500 eds because..... with a yumi you are using 2 hands correct? so really that weapon takes up 2 slots, but you want to make it only for 1 slot. so you have to re layer it to make it a 1 slot weapon. :)

good luck to you and if you have questions type [pm nelapsi

oh 1 last mention.

you can have a jack cutlass look like a war hammer btw, and with the 19-31 base damage. :nod: BUT as like the cosmos there is a balance or pay off. you have to give up your weapon specials on that weapon. :(

this involves having +Colibri change the weapon but remember you will no long have any weapon special. :( also i do not know how much this will cost. i do not know why you would want to. trust me i do more damage with a yumi than a jacks.

dps is not all, i dont use pets after all even its best for younger players, and i just got a bow for special fights like leviathans.
but yes, there are better choices than the jack, i know that. trying to max out things is kind of frustrating for new players considering the wealth and experience of vets, so i dont even try. game experience is not only to be absoluteley awesome imho.
i am currently building a smith just to make a nice set of chainmail armor, just because i like the look of it and no chainmail parts are used or sold on vendors :)

if you looking to change a weapon into a 1h sword of some kind.
my favorite has always been the broad sword
pretty good base damage and the swing speed isent super slow
specials are armor ignore, crushing blow
but thats just my little input on this post. :mrgreen:
