Here goes:
Since there’s been a lot of big focus now on questing, especially the types that force group interaction; I was thinking of how to introduce a new way of forcing this group questing by re-introducing classic uo rules to a new facet.
For example, a new fel, pretty much the same, but without all the unique stuff that’s in the current fel. When you enter, if you have a skill cap higher than 700 (lol if you don’t) it will ask you to pick your chosen skills and "inhibit" the remaining ones. (Possibly also a stat cap like this?), with the option to reset this each time you enter.
The reasoning behind this in terms of questing is I'm thinking quests where you would have to mine / make etc... or even kill certain things in environments where the new (classic) skill cap would make it impossible to survive alone, meaning that groups who enter would each have specific skills and roles to bring to the situations, rather than everyone just all out smashing stuff up.
This also opens up for requests and ideas others have had about fel (factions and what not) but also maybe things like: things tamed in this new fel can only be used in new fel etc... just some other thoughts

I'd like to know what people think of this, since it’s only just a pipe dream hehe
