Yep it was the ISP. They decided to do an unannounced scheduled major maintenance. The server was back at around 7:00 but it wasnt until around 9:40 till i started the server

I stopped UO server because i saw that this would be a long one (probably wouldnt get fixed by itself, so i'd have to wait atleast till the technicians get to work)
Even if the pets are bonded, they usually disapear... better to start from the last save before the major downtime. There was an about 5-10 minute revert (nothing big), since luckily the server disconnected just shortly after a world save.

Yes, I suspect it is still the ISP doing some stuff. It was up for a while... but it is down again... Hopefully it will be back up soon.

Starting to shake... well, not really... but yeah... starting to shake.

OK, well, would really like to continue trying to break Exex... love testing.

Ok it's UP. There was a problem with the synchronization between the server and the ISP - according to the tech guy, they did some massive upgrades and all clients (routers, computers) should be restarted after they got the connection. Unfortunately nobody informed me of that.

Funny thing, the tech guy said "these sorts of upgrades are suposed to be invisible to the user, the user shouldnt feel them". So i said "well, i pretty much felt it"

Anyway, according to what he said, now that their hardware is updated, and the server is restarted, there shouldt be any more problems. Due to the big number of problems lately i'm skeptic about that, but let's have good faith in the best

And the tech guy is smoking something, not sure what happens to be legal over there....

The upgrade should be invisible to the users, but it does require a restart? That isn't invisible, it requires user interaction.

Anyway, so much for the no more problems.
