Drake as fighting pet?

I was wondering if i started Breeding dex fighter drakes, if it would work at all with harder spawns in the game.
I have always liked drakes for some reason, not sure why.

sorry would have replied earlier, but drakes aren't that great as a fighting pet. first off it takes what 3 pet slots? when you could replace that with 3 imprisoned pets. damage for damage the imps would do more and won't lose stats upon death. sadly enough the normal pets have become lost in the 'best' pet place.

for personal preferences:
don't know a dexxer drake might be interesting. o.O might also be fun and something to do. my advice to you is...go for it! can't hurt and won't really cost much.

not meaning to be contradictory anarchy, they are a 2 slotter, I started maxing them as I did with many other breeds. they can be quite nice.. to be honest about this stat loss thing.. the key is don't let your pets die LOL which isn't hard to do at all sometimes I think the imps encourage lazy gameplay (which sometimes I am all about)

anyhoo why not go for it, it will take a while to breed them up but breeding can be a fun metagame unto itself and thats what the whole idea of this place is.. have some fun.

the thing I'll say about the whole thing is that imps have their time and place (netopir, paroxy etc) but why just keep eating the same flavor of ice cream, try different stuff pet packs do fine against lady mel, or travesty etc its all about what floats your boat and stuff

good points, i think im going to start a drake breeding program and try and get 2 Dex drakes going. on another note, do the ride-able drakes have the same stats as a normal drake? and one last question, Wyrmy Wyrms, ive heard that they have some ridiculous casting stats and extensive amount of spells, can anyone give me some insite on those?
