Let my mistake be a warning for you !

Hi,

Something bad happened to me yesterday and i wanted to share so new players can profit from my mistake.

I was leveling a wep when my baby girl woke up in bed and i had to tend to her. All in all it took 30 minutes to put her back in bed and by that time i was dead in doom and my body decaded. I wasn't worried because everything was blessed or insured. But the problem was that the day before i bought lots of thinks and when i died i didn't have to fund in bank. But that time i got my stuff back not knowing that when you don't have funds...the items do know reinsured themself.

So last night I lost jackals collar, Ultimate quiver, gloves of pugilist, bat wings, nice plate leggings and my wood workers keys and a nice hive robe 10 str.

And now i have to wait for + Coli to get stuff back hopefully soon....This mistake almost made me give up the game. So be warned....

So the lesson learned is don't go AFK in an area with creatures? Where your character will fight back and kill mobs while you are AFK, which is against the rules. All in all, follow the rules and you won't have issues for the most part

The rules were followed...i never AFK level weps..its just that i should have logged out or recall somewhere safe and mainly check the insured items...

I concur. The act of going AFK in a hostile area could be misconstrued though

Simple things to get into a habit so this can never happen to you.

1. ALWAYS leave enough gold in the bank at a minimum to cover insurance of 2 untimely deaths.
2. Never take keys,tool houses or gem pouches with you unless they are stored in a blessed bag.
3. Have the Hiding skill on a hot key. ( I go afk a lot in hostile areas. I just simply hide.)
4. When you are unsure, log out; but logging back into a hostile area can get you killed before you know what happened.
5. Remember, Murphy's Law is there for a reason.

Honestly man, THANK You for taking care of your family before the game. I'm a dad too and I never regret doing it. All those things can be replace (pm me and I'll even give you mine). As your daughter gets older, they remember EVERYTHING, I mean everything. She will either remember you as a great dad, or the dad that plays sits on the PC...
