I think making them unsoloable by virtue of making them tougher would be impossible. One fully relayered player with a druid spellbook can easily out-DPS even a few low-mid tier players. If champs were made in a way that a relayered player can't handle them, then non-relayers would have no hope at all, even in groups.

A possible option however would be making the champ progression dependant on the number of players. So for example a champ needs at least 3 players to progress. Also making it progress slightly faster (for example 5% less monsters need to be killed for each skull per player participating - with a cap, ofc) would (could?) result in more people getting invited, if only to make a champ a few minutes faster. Or perhaps only double/triple the amount of spawn 2/1 player(s) have to kill in a given time to make it impossible to solo.

An example. Let's say that a champ requires 100 mobs to be killed in 5 minutes to get a candle (if not - it regresses). This would be the number that 3 players have to kill. If there was only 2 players the number would be 200, if only 1 - 300, virtually ensuring that even with druid spells a player can't kill enough within a given time. The numbers and times should of course vary accordingly to champ and spawn level.

blood clan champ is like that. i dont know too many people who could solo that champ. unless you have 10 pet slots with 10 different hot keys and coordinated extremely well. fyi: no i can't solo that champ. you need to kill way too fast even with 10 pets and druid spells.

the problem with no champ can be solo'd rule is.... let's say you come across a champ, and you global the news. no one comes. then your kind of out of luck.

Hi there again :)

I think we're thinking of way too complicated solutions... I mean, the way champs work right now is pretty much ok, being the two main problems the overflooding market of Ps and the denials in participation. The first one is not even that problematic, since u dont get that many 120s, and the second one... not that problematic too xD i think that just implementing the gold-per-skull system and somehow reducing the quantity and/or quality of the ps one might get would be more than enough to balance champs.

Disagree...If one person puts in the same amount of work as 6, why should he get less?...Also, there are some people that like to run solo, or if i got enough time on my hands and no one else is around, why should I be able to do it alone?...LONERS UNITE! (pun intended!)
