+skill gear from BoDs

Ive done a fair share of BoDs, and following the wiki guide for blacksmithing I see 3 options that give +3 gear (750,800,850), but upon completing one all I ever get is gloves or gorgets (Ive probably got 20 stashed away). I managed to buy +3 sleeves and tunic, but I've never personally seen them as a reward. What am I missing?

The gear isn't truly random. The rewards seem to be randomized when the server resets, and afterwards every return of a certain type gives that one piece of equipment. Just hold on to the bods and wait for a reset. It's not the best solution, but it's all we have.

This doesn't seem to be right as I just turned in a bunch of Carpentry BODs and got a cap +1 a gorget +1 and a pair of gloves +3, all in one sitting.

You didn't get those rewards from the same type of bod. If you turn in more bods of the kind that got you each of those rewards, you'll just keep getting the same pieces like I said. I have three years of records showing this to be the case. Actual random reward pieces is another thing on our wish list, but there are bigger fish to fry with gm time. I'd rather the time be spent on things everybody can enjoy. (Like the current holiday event.)

Actually all the +3 gear is fixed to a diferent level of BOD. So (EXAMPLE!) the 750s gives gloves and gorgets, 800s gives tunics and pants and 850s gives caps and sleeves. This is also randomly assigned to either mining or blacksmith gear (for BS BODs), lj or carp (for Carp BODs). Fletching and tailor only give that, respectively.

How do you know when the server has reset?

And Ilsanor I've completed several different 750s, 800s, and 850s they all give gloves/gorgets.

Strange, I got 4 (different) pieces of my carp gear off BODs in one go. Plus some for LJ'ing. Either that's bad luck on your part or there's a variable we're missing.

As for the server restart - it's done when it's needed (patch, maintenance) or when something bad happens (a crash). It not something that +Coli does on a regular basis. Best if you type [account and check server uptime there.
