A few spell bugs

First I would like to thank colibri and his helpers for setting up such a nice shard. I can easily imagin how much work you guys put in for all the nice features that doesnt exist on the origin UO shards.

Here are some of the things that seem broken or not configured correctly on exelsior:

Bushido: impossible to honor monsters and evasion doesent evade anything at all. Also, the lightning strike works as intended, but it misses the little lightning animation it usually has. finally, it is impossible to do the lightning arrow special move that is available on the short magical bow , and i do have 98.2 bushido atm, but on the shards i playerd before, ninjitsu or bushido were not necessary to perform that special move.

Necromancy: Wraith form. It is supposed to do two things, let you pass thru enemies without being block, wich works, and spell damage on monsters should leech mana on monsters that have mana, that doesnt work.

Well, to be honest, there's tons and tons of tiny tiny things that should be fixed, that aren't the same on OSI, that are buggy, etc... And right now i don't have time to attend to these freckles, but i will put it on my todo list. For now, let's just call it a "custom feature of the shard".

I cannot speak for Colibri, but as the 2nd Admin I can tell you that, there are things on the shard that might not be exactly the same as you have seen it elsewhere. Some things will be different. Something like a specific animation, well, we have enhanced many animations on the shard (i.e, shrinking pets that otherwise would sit in your pack as a small ball icon are now identified by an icon related to the pet you are shrinking). There is no "right" animation for a spell, in my opinion, only a variety of interpretations.

We will have to check out the script for the spell and see what the intention is and if it is actually not working, or if it is simply something else.

If you look in the "Special Abilities" book on your paperdoll, and hover over each icon for each ability, you will see what it requires. There are many that do require Bushido/Ninjitsu, so you would have a chance at failure. And again, make sure you read about the Parry and Bushido situation. You can calculate your status on stratics.

Again, not everything that is done on Excelsior is exactly the same as another shard, just as we have a lot of customs here that you will not find anywhere else. So just keep that in mind. And again, we will look into it to see if it is scripted to do what you speak of, and something is causing it not to work.

Thanks for your answers. I would be a happy camper if wraith form actually leeched the foe as it is supposed to do and if pressing the evasion button would result in evading. PS.: my bushido is now at 114 and parry at 120
