Get rid of pointless champer campers things.

as a part of the guilds that does have 10 oaks skulls placed between several of us, if they decay they will still decay in our banks, currently those holding the skulls are making the stat scrolls much rarer, and keeping people from whining about the prices being to low or too high. the champer campers keep people from sitting there giving more people a chance at the oaks. theres no reason to complain about the power of the campers because if you were doing oaks u actually have harder things to kill there than avoid the champer campers. people have been real negative on the forum using big words and accusations today, thats not in the spirit of the shard or in coli's vision of what he wants here. staff are doing the best they can with the situation they are in. when you page for something like they wont let me in the champ you are whining, over half the champ is done, if they dont let you in thats your faullt for not showing up 5 minutes earlier.

as in an answer to should they make oaks more rare the answer is no. most of the stat scrolls the drop at harrower are 25 or less with a single person getting the coveted 50 sometimes.

Cornbread, Dramoor, Alex, and other knowledgable players, what are your opinions on making stat scrolls rarer? Would it be smart to make oaks spawn less frequently, like say once every three weeks or maybe something like that? Just wondering what everyone's thoughts were on it. Honestly I could care less about the decay or CC's. I think it is a smart measure to prevent the annoying pages of people crying about it

As far as we're all concerned, I'm sure we wouldn't care one bit if they removed Oaks from the server. We all have our scrolls. Keep complaining and anyone else who wants one will end up having to buy it off the ED stone. You keep poking and prodding the GMs with stupid complaints and things for them to waste time on instead of working on the patch and future areas of this shard, they will take drastic measures.

There's changes made fairly regularly that upset lots of people. But they also remove stupid pages and dumb threads in the forums requiring moderation from the GMs. The shard isn't static, if it was then we'd all have quit because we'd say the GMs don't care and aren't trying to improve the overall experience for everyone. Before whining and crying over every little change that doesn't make your life easier try and view things from the overall perspective of the well being of the shard.

I think Oaks is fine the way it is. It benefits everyone. The chance you get a 30+ ps scroll is small. You can go to my house and see the stack of stat scrolls I have, however none is bigger than a 30. And I have done many harrowers with friends and guildies. Removing Oaks or making it rarer would drive up prices hurting mostly newer players and mid range players, since most older players have a +40 or higher already. Nobody wants to pay the 500ED on the ED stone in Trinsic and we definitely want to help newer players. 75% of the drops are worth less than 1 million gold. For that time, go to a dungeon for a few hours and you easily make one million on gold and tokens!!! Oaks is just not worth and definitely not worth fighting over. People checking should be rewarded for their effort and shouldnt benefit from an alerter. The champer campers are a great solution.
