Stats question!

Post by Linyera Rabioso »

Hello everybody,

I'm new here in Excelsior and after reading as much as possible about this server, i still have some questions. I just got to the training room, and i've been increasing fencing and sword to 75, but I can't seem to increase my Dex (nor my Str). I read something about getting "1 stat point after about 15 minutes" but it is not working like that for me. Is there any skill that could help me get my stat busted quickly? A tip por each stat would be awesome! :D

Thanks!

Dex is usually the slowest one to raise. And it's not every fifteen minutes guaranteed, but after 15 min you are “eligible” for a gain.

I’ve seen some people disagree, but I believe you have to be actually raising a skill to get a stat gain.

One little tip is if you have camping at 0, don’t buy training in it. Get some kindling and try and start fires. Keep INT and STR locked. Once you get a DEX gain, stop trying until at least 15 min has passed. You will get a good amount of DEX before you start the fires too quickly.

Another tip is train up all your combats to 75, fencing and archery are good for Dex.

The thing about this server, the skills are for the most part super easy to gain, but the stats here take a good bit of work. However it’s well worth the effort.

Good luck

The easiest way to raise dex in my opinion, is to either:

1) remove all your armor, grab a training weapon, and beat the trainer overnight while you sleep...

or

2) macro music while you sleep.\

If you prefer doing it actively, its still possible, but will take considerably longer! As Melkor suggested, lock the 2 stats you aren't working on, as a gain in any will prevent you from another gain for 15+ minutes.

In my opinion, those are the 2 best ways to raise dex. Camping allows you to do other things while in game, and music and music based skills are ideal for afk gaining.

Training weapon skills will raise it, providing you lock the other 2, but since you will hit 75 fairly quickly, you will only gain so far.

You will still raise stat points with your skill maxxed or at room max in training room. Just adding a lil info for going to bed for a specific stat would still work wrestling an npc even with maxxed wrestling.
