All new-generation Wooden Spikes have been modified, they are now wearable deco rather than a base weapon. They were never intended to be a base weapon with this new dungeon upgrade. Rayne created the original dungeon and her original spikes were a "relayered" black staff that looked like a torch. When I remade the dungeon I had intended to ensure that all of the previous weapons were now deco to prevent abuse, but I missed this one. Thankfully nobody had type changed or tried to level one yet so there wasn't any need to refund deeds. All future drops on this item will be the proper wearable deco item.

This dungeon is such a good idea...since i'm always there..i get to know really nice people!!! This goes for Sethra and EZ, cygnus, Aryanna....and the others that i forget!!! I'm having a blast!!!

Apparently there have been brand new players with young status going into the halloween dungeon to obtain the stealables and candy without any danger. I've now changed it so that accounts under 30 days cannot enter the dungeon and will be looking into whether these players were multi-accounting to easily obtain collectible items.

The Hollow Rider randomly decided to stop working in terms of dropping his artifacts, so he's had a stern talking to and should behave better from now on. We tested it, and he is in fact dropping each artifact on his loot table, though the drop rate is the same as every other boss so there will be times when you don't see one for awhile.

I was one of those "young" players. I would go in and kill bats. When I saw a cany on the ground and another player was there I would let them have first go. Also I would check other's corpses for anything I (or my wife) could use. My character doesn't have any stealing skill.

Would it be possible to cut back the spawn around the entrance just a weeeee bit? I'm not asking for easy mode on anything - I have plenty enough trouble navigating the bulk of the dungeon safely. But when I want to leave the dungeon, if the entrance hasn't been cleared out recently there's only a 50/50 chance of me and my mules making it out alive. And that's after casting bless/sacred boon/magic reflect and having touch of life precast. I've died there several times, just happened again when I ran into a Horseman, 6 vampires, and god knows how many other things. Ended up costing me more than I earned in several hours just to escape.
I tried to go to the AFK room on the 2nd level but when I reached the top of the stairs... nothing. Just stood there. And with a Horseman and Soul Eater in the room I couldn't spend much time troubleshooting. I admit I could have slowly fought my way out of the dungeon too but that might have taken a full hour and I haven't made a habit of planning to leave an hour ahead of time. I usually play up until I HAVE to stop. I don't mind a fight on the way out at all. I don't mind lots of spawn in the hallways inside making it really difficult to get from one boss room to another. That's a challenge and I enjoy it. But right now the spawn at the entrance/exit is so heavy it can drop me on the run (mostly due to casting through walls there) or kill me and my pets if I dismount + all guard me (or if a goblin helps me with that). And I'm not looking for a challenge at that point, I'd just like a fighting chance to get out of the dungeon alive and in a timely manner. :)

I think you have to say AFK at the top of the stairs to go to the AFK room

I think you have to say AFK at the top of the stairs to go to the AFK room
