Server down?
Server down?
Been trying to log on for quite some time now and nothing, the only connection I have w/ excelsior is this atm. Am I the only one experiencing this issue or are there others out there as well?

I just tried logging in as well, razor won't connect to shard.uoex.net, game won't connect to anything, and i can't access portal.uoex.net either. any suggestions?

Well I've tried accessing portal and nothing. Also tried logging in and updating razor and nothing still.

I see that there's a configuration issue in the DNS server, basically some outdated configuration. I've fixed it, but it might take a while for this to update globaly (technically max 1 hour).

ok thank you +c yeah still can't access the portal or anything now (using a proxy atm to post this) but i'll keep an eye out, thanks for the speedy response though

If anyone cant connect to the shard, you can try entering the IP directly (either in Razor's login form, or open your login.cfg file as described on http://www.uoex.net/startup)
Instead of "shard.uoex.net" you can enter "184.107.235.50" (without the quotes).
But be sure to change it back in a few days, since the IP may change, but shard.uoex.net address will always work (present company exluded hehe
).
Otherwise I see that it works in most places, so it's probably limited to a few ISPs or possibly even your internet settings ... there's basically some conflicting configuration which isn't a big deal, but some clients (ISPs, maybe routers, or internet settings) can see it as a possible security issue.

once again thank you for the update and i'll try that for now, hopefully it'll work with the shard.uoex.net later on today though. yeah i tried flushing my dns and nothing, won't even let me get on with the excelsior client but i'll try the actual server ip, thanks
