New Lock-Down Feature

Post by SOL »

What a nice feature, now we can all feel very certain when we drop something super valuable for display. Thank you!

Could it be further adjusted into a toggle on the security section of the house gump?

It is difficult to decorate this way. You never know where something is going to land given how many variables there are, both of surrounding items and the item being dropped, so, this one extra "do nothing" step slows the impulse to art (free play).

Both modes would be *awesome*

To have the option of both a full-risk and safe-drop mode would be the best of both worlds :)

I do love the new feature, i've lost a relayer in past cause it wasn't locked down and i'm kinda OCD on locking down objects now :P This sure does make it safer but i do agree it can hinder decorating.

I have noticed with the new lock down feature. That you do not have to do anything with the gump until you are ready to lock it down. The gump stays active until that item is checked to lock down.

The other thing I have noticed is if you place more items down after the first one. The first item lock down gump disappears and goes to the next one leaving the first item basically checked as a do nothing.

I love this new gump. It made the fish tank I built really easy to do with over 300 cloth needing to be locked down. Went by much faster! I just had to make sure that I was done with the first item before placing another.

Agree, I was just playing with this gump bypass also. I'm happy, it IS the best of both worlds. Thanks Colibri :)
