Arti Tags

I am pretty sure i already know the answer to this question, but I am going to ask it for clarification.
If I have a weapon that has an arti tag on it, and I level it to 100 and then relayer it without removing the tag, and not spending the points then once i relayer it will the atributes become cheaper as if it was not arti tagged?

No if you relayer it without removing the tag it will spend as if you did not remove the tag. You have to remove it and relayer it.

I'm fairly certain that you can relayer it with the arty tag, then remove the tag later before spending the points. Either way, you must remove the tag to lower the cost of spending points.

yes ... relayer does not have anything to do with the properties of the item .. it only affects the slot the item takes up ... and the image ..

remove the aty tag and relayer it or relayer it and remove the arty tag ... or else everything will cost doubble .

yeah i was pretty sure tht was the case, i was just kinda thinking that because the relayer changes the slot it wld change the weapon type and therefore remove the arti tag, at least now i know i havnt been wasting the 200eds to take my arti tags off
