In the last few days or week I Have Seen things about Doom and Champs that as the opening line of this post states don't happen
is it because players don't know the ethics of going to these places.

Most of the players don't even read the forums so this post wont be seen by many and most likely the ones that stir up everyone else.

All I'm posting about is to use courtesy when going to a champ,doom or any big spawn that might give cause grief to another player. and that what Excelsior is not about. Ask if you can join if someone is half way in or done with a champ and SHARE the gold you get. same with doom take turns when doing it. your here to have fun so do just that. Give Respect Get Respect.

PS I Dont want or expect to hear anything negative like the last few days have been.

It is not a rule in Excelsior to be "courtesy and gracious good manners" But we are a shard for familys and friends, and a place to make friends...

And here at Excelsior we DO expect you to treat everyone with the respect you deserve, I really don't want to see Excelsior lose that unique quialty it has, where you can join a hunting group and one person collects all the goodies then shares everything at the end, We should be working together and feel you can join in with everyone!

This is one off the best quailties the shard has to boast about, and one i certainly feel attracks the big player base we are getting here.

Maybe these players are unaware off how things have been done in the past... Maybe they just need to be shown, But i certainly feel we should fight to save these good quailites.

Agreed. I'm rather new here, but things do seem allot more friendly and laid back here. I'd hate to see it change.

Thank you Ramious for giving thought to that. I agree.

The staff here are good, the rules are nicely written, but most of it comes down to each individual. I'm sure there are conflicts ahead that we will need to solve, but if we all use common sense and be compassionate, and courteous, we can all have a very good time for many years to come.

I can count on one hand the number of "incidents" I've had in 2 years. Just don't walk around like you're entitled to everything and you're golden.

And I don't even need a full hand to count the number of people that were banned for bad behavior since the shard started (except for those that start spamming and cussing as soon as they come). Was about 2-3, and even those were just warning bans. Which means that it's a pretty friendly Let's keep it up.
