How about an online, searchable database of all our character, ala WoW Armory?

If I'm correct, there is already a stats gathering part integrated into RunUO 1.0, namely MyUO. Couldn't we use this?

Yeah... but well anyone can already login and see it in the game. I see no point in that being online.

The point is that you can see your own characters, as well those from other players (with their consent). Kinda like a gold ranking but better . Better yet, integrate the gold display and ranking into it !

Well, you'd have to script so that all the attributes would be displayed... plus the graphics, etc etc... i think we got a lot of more useful requests already. This would also require maintenance... and basically well if you want others to see your gear, you can just stand at TC all day.

yup, that way you can make something for the portal where you select

* which of your char to show
* whether or not you wish to have your wealth show.

from this, a top-list of 'visible' financial rankings can be gleemed.

my(run)UO generates the graphics automatically if recall correctly. (server will need a copy of the graphic files)

If someone does this I'd prefer it to be an opt in system, if people want to see what I use then they can ask. I don't really want people being able to browse all my stuff. I don't mind being helpful but some things I only share with people I want to know.
